Frequently Asked Question
What is a closure wig?
A closure is an attachment used to close off your wig or a particular style without the use of the natural hair. This is usually sewn in along with weaving or making a custom wig by hand.
Types of closure wigs?
Closures come in different sizes and styles. The different sizes of closures are always as normal closures (2×4 or 4×4), Full Frontal or Ear to Ear Frontal or 13×4 Closure, and 360 Frontal. The different styles include the three-part, free part, and middle part.
How long does a closure wig last?
Closures can normally last anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks without needing a retouch. Having them installed for long periods of time can irritate your skin and severely damage your hairline or break off your edges.
Are closer wigs better for beginners?
A lace closure hair piece doesn’t require a lot of experience to take care of. You do technically have to take it off at the end of the day, but other than that; the most work you would probably ever have to do is washing, conditioning and styling it.
Are closures bad for your hair?
No, closures are not bad for your hair. In fact, wearing a lace closure allows you to experiment with so many styles and colors with little or no damage to your hair.
